If you're looking for an authentic mountain top cabin, with a touch of luxury, you've found it at Above The Ridge. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath real log cabin is perched high above Lands Creek and the Road To Nowhere, located just minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake, Tsali Recreation area with it's world class mountain biking trails and for you night owls, Harrah's Casino. You can sit on the decks and watch the twinkling lights from the cabins on the distant mountain ranges. Everyday has a masterpiece of colors waiting for you as they dance across the mountain from daybreak to sunset.
Up to the Top! Like all great secluded mountain cabins, you have to "climb" the mountain to get to the view. Any normal vehicle can make the climb, there will be concrete under you all the way up, as with all mountain roads its recommended you don't stop during your climb to the cabin. After a long day hiking, fishing, or running the Nantahala River on a raft with a bunch of your friends and family, you can return to this cozy cabin as you stretch out on the comfy leather couch in front of the gas stone fire place. You'll find what you need to make dinner special in the well appointed kitchen. Don't feel like cooking? Check out the variety of restaurants just down the road in downtown Bryson City. If you still have the energy you can have some fun on the foosball table in the loft or sit around the fire pit as the fire cuts through the cool night mountain air. When you're ready to retire for the night, you can crawl into a cozy bed and dream about the next day's adventures.

TV's and DVD's in all bedrooms and living room. Loft has foosball, TV with Playstation and long range mountain view. We offer a portable WIFI Hotspot to guests of this cabin for a small setup fee. Availability of our Hotspot devices is limited and on a first-come basis. Service is limited by cell signal quality and there are usage restrictions, but this device should allow internet access sufficient for casual internet enjoyment. This device must be requested in advance and availability of a device is not guaranteed.
The fireplaces will be turned off June through August.
