Mountain Layers Brewing Company
There are two breweries located in downtown Bryson City, both of which provide crisp ales and mountain-view outdoor seating. Most of our Smoky Mountain cabins are a short drive from Bryson City's lively, historic downtown. The newest brewery in town is Mountain Layers Brewing Company, which has quickly won the hearts of locals and tourists alike. They've only brewed 11 unique beers in nearly two years since their doors opened, a rarity these days. Many establishments brew almost a dozen new recipes in one month alone. Mountain Layers continue to stick to their guns: the juicy, slightly-bitter Nydee Effret IPA, classic Whaddayear Wit, and the hoppy, balanced Highway 28 imperial red ale. Folks flock to their sizable rooftop deck on weekends, the perfect place to reminisce about each day's Smoky Mountain adventures.Nantahala Brewing Company
Three blocks from Mountain Layers is the valley's first brewing staple: Nantahala Brewing Company. With nearly 200 unique beers under their belt, Nantahala Brewing has shown no signs of slowing down their evolving and expanding brewing operations. Nantahala Brewing will celebrate their tenth anniversary this spring, a monumental achievement for these trailblazers. Their piney flagship IPA, rich chocolate-covered cherry stout, and hazy New England-style IPA are three of our favorites beers here at Watershed Cabins. Nantahala Brewing provides tours and tastings inside their Bryson City facility, a must for craft beer aficionados. After an absorbing brewery tour, return to one of our luxurious Smoky Mountain cabins with a growler of your favorite brew and enjoy it near a crackling bonfire.Luxurious Smoky Mountain Cabins
