Cabin Reservations

Rates are per night with a 2 night minimum stay required (longer for holidays). Occupancy is stated as a base number (how many people can sleep in beds) or as a range of occupancy (in which case the upper range also includes sleeping on futons or sofabeds). With groups of more than the base occupancy, or any time sleeping on a futon or sofabed is required, additional cleaning charges apply (see cabin description page for base and max occupancy). A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. A booking fee of up to $35 is charged on all reservations. The deposit is fully refundable only with written cancellation at least 30 days prior to arrival date. Without 30 days notice, deposits are only refundable if the cabin is re-rented.Final payment is charged to your credit card 7 days before your arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of scheduled arrival (including no-shows) are obligated for the entire amount of the reservation, unless the cabin can be re-rented. The booking fee of up to $35 is non-refundable. No indoor smoking is allowed. Pets allowed only in selected cabins and only with advance permission, additional security deposit, and additional cleaning fee. 9.75% (or the current rate as set by state and local governments) county and state taxes are additional.
Pet Policy: Many, but not all, of our cabins are pet friendly, but we must know in advance if you are bringing a pet. By bringing a pet, you agree to the terms of our complete Pet Agreement, which provides very specific rules for pets including: no pets on furniture (including beds and sofas), unattended pets in cabin must be crated, and many other strict requirements. The Pet Agreement also provides that pets brought without advance notice will be charged DOUBLE the normal pet fees. Pets brought to cabins that do NOT allow pets can result in immediate eviction with forfeiture of remaining paid stay.
Security Deposit / Limited Damage Waiver: There is a required security deposit of $600 on each reservation. This deposit requirement can be waived by payment of a Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) fee of $10 per day, not to exceed $50 in total. The option of purchasing a non-refundable LDW protects you from being charged for up to $1,000 of accidental loss or damage that may occur during your occupancy. You remain responsible for any damage, repair, or replacement expenses exceeding $1,000. Details of the benefits and obligations of this LDW fee are outlined in the Vacation Rental Agreement that you will sign with us.
Vacation Rental Insurance: Although not a requirement, this coverage is highly recommended and hugely beneficial to avoid hassles and potential financial losses from unexpected events that affect your vacation. Our plan is provided by CSA Travel Protection, a leader in the industry. Coverage and benefits include trip cancellation and interruption, trip delay, baggage delay, loss, theft and damage of baggage and personal effects -- including provisions for sporting equipment -- medical and dental expenses, emergency medical transportation, rental car damage and travel accidents. You even get coverage for roadside assistance, 24-hour emergency assistance, and concierge services, not to mention identity theft resolution services. The cost of this coverage is 6.9% of the reservation cost, a small price to pay for this excellent coverage and peace of mind. Ask your reservations agent for details. Review the specifics of the policy here, but note that no coverage is in place until the premium is paid.
