Dancing Mountain is naturally landscaped and set in a lush, wooded environment. Pictured here from the parking area, note the downstairs level of the deck which hosts the hot tub.
The construction has lots of mountain-cottage character. The rear main-level deck is shown here, but note the skylights that are over the loft area, letting plenty of light into the great room. (The upstairs balcony barely visible on the left side is not accessible by guests for safety reasons.)
You are welcomed through the front door by the winding staircase. The craftsmanship of the entire cabin is apparent in the swirling handrail of this masterpiece.
The deck is large and shaded, with a long-range view through the trees.
Here's another view of the main deck and the rustic cedar rocking chairs.
The lower level deck provides a hidden setting for the hot tub, but still enjoys the view.

great room

The great room features large living, dining, and kitchen area with dining table suitable for seating 6 plus additional counter seating for 2. There's a leather sofa and 2 overstuffed leather chairs with ottomans, hardwood floors, and a wood-burning stove fireplace to make the setting comfortable, but it's the ample windows out to the huge deck, the overhead wood beams, and the custom craftsman-built spiral staircase that complete the charm. There is a satellite dish and home-theatre system complete with CD/DVD player (bring your own music or listen to one of the dozens of digital music channels provided by digital satellite).  Downstairs, there's additional living room rec area with a sofa/loveseat, big-screen TV and a pool table.  Again, ample windows bring the outdoors in!  The hot tub is just outside on the lower-level deck.

sleeping accommodations

All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens. Towels are provided for the base number of occupancy. Additional linens and towels are provided for guests utilizing the futons for sleeping, with a one-time additional fee of $50 (please note that we do NOT have a per-person per-night charge for the additional occupancy).

Ground Floor: this level has plenty of space for family enjoyment with the second living area featuring a sofa and loveseat, big-screen TV, and pool table.  Step outside to the hot tub located on the lower level of the deck but overlooking the wooded view.

Main Floor: The master bedroom is just off the living room through double French doors.  There's a queen bed with private bath featuring a jacuzzi tub and seperate double shower.

Loft Floor: The upstairs level has an open loft area for reading or enjoying the view with mission-style recliner and a queen futon.  There are 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed only, the other with a queen bed and a queen futon), plus a shared bathroom on this level.  The cathedral ceiling space and skylights overhead show the interesting detail of the cabin's construction and design, and combined with the ample windows, really creates an open feeling of being in nature.
