The dream of this log home was born on the 4th of July.  The cabin was completed in 2005 and features a beautiful setting with slow running creek and native rhododendron. Very convenient to Tsali and Fontana Lake.

kitchen

Your kitchen is appointed with all new stainless appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. We also provide you with all the dishes and utensils you'll need. A Weber gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs.

great room

This great room is designed for family enjoyment.  There's a huge stone fireplace (fire wood provided), large dining table (seats 10 plus 4 more at the counter), access to the huge deck outside, and no distracting TV.  There's a steerskin rug and leather sofa amidst other details of rustic cabin decor.

sleeping accomodations

All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows. Plus, we use down comforters and pillow-top mattresses almost exclusively. Our linens are high threadcount and all cotton. Towels are provided for the base number of occupancy.  Linens and extra towels for those utilizing the futon(s) or sofabed for sleeping are provided with an extra fee of $50, but we do NOT charge an additional per-person, per-night fee.

Main Floor: The entry floor has a king bed in the private master bedroom. This room exits to the main deck with hot tub and is serviced by its own private bathroom featuring an antique claw-foot tub. This bath adjoins a powder room that is shared with the general household. TV/satellite in this room.

Upstairs Floor: This level has 1 queen bedroom plus an open loft area with a pool table and additional sleeping on 2 full-size futons. There's a shared bath on this level. The loft also has a TV with satellite service.

Ground Floor: This large rec room functions as a bedroom. There are twin bunk beds plus a full futon. There's a game table, laundry room, bathroom, and a living area with leather sofa and a big-screen TV (DirectTV satellite).
