Bear Hug

Bear Hug is a one-bedroom old-log style cabin.  Small in size but big on comfort, this unit has all the appointments of our other cabins (Ralph Lauren towels, Egyptian cotton linens, etc).  Combine the cozy, comfortable space with the huge outside deck and amazing view, and Bear Hug makes for a great getaway.

kitchen

Considering it's just minutes from the cabin into Bryson City, where you can enjoy everything from fast food to a great selection of "mom-n-pop" style eateries, you might not even want to cook. Should you be tempted, however, the small-but-well-equipped kitchen will sustain you quite adequately.   Dishes, utensils, and glassware are all provided as are basic cooking ware, a coffee maker (and grinder), and toaster.  The compact refridgerator is small in size (especially the freezer compartment), but has proved adequate for most guests.  This compact cabin also has NO washer/dryer.

sleeping accommodations

All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters.  Your queen bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens.  Ralph Lauren towels are provided, and did we mention that our new bed linens are 600 threadcount, Egyptian cotton?  You've never stayed in the Smokies like this before.

The living room sofa opens into a full-sized sleeper (a one-time fee of $25 applies to utilize this sleeper and extra linens).

great room

This unit is a cozy but complete one-bedroom cabin. There is one open room for kitchen, dining, and living space.  There is a private bedroom and bathroom and a very large and private deck with hot tub.  There is a full lineup on the DirecTV including local network channels, HBO (and other premium movie channels), an upgraded Fox sports package, and plenty of music stations.

The log walls and the cabin-style decor surround you with comfort.  There's an electric fireplace for ambiance (wood-burning firepit is outside on the deck) and the outside deck is covered off the living room to extend your living space.
